Assobioplastiche: Promoting Bioplastics in Italy and Worldwide
Italian Association of Bioplastics and Biodegradable and Compostable Materials. Assobioplastiche consists of companies operating, in Italy and abroad, in the production of biodegradable polymers and finished products, by organizations, NGOs, universities and business associations, as well as the structures that guarantee the correct management of the end of life of the products produced with bioplastics.
Biorepack: Recycling Compostable Packaging
The first European extended producer responsibility (EPR) system dedicated to biodegradable and compostable plastic packaging of which Ecozema is a founding member. Biorepack is the national consortium for the organic recycling of biodegradable and compostable plastic packaging, a sector it represents within the CONAI system.
It deals with the end-of-life management of EN 13432 certified compostable bioplastic packaging (and similar fractions) delivered to the separate collection and recycling circuit of the organic fraction of urban waste (wet).
